Guardian of the Cormorant Caves

This piece won an "Award of Excellence" from the Federation of Canadian Artists

 We are able to sail in   silence into small bays and lagoons.  During one of our trips I was drawn to what looked like Grecian figure looming in the centre of cormorant  sandstone caves.  I saw the protector of the birds, ancient and steadfast, as  the flying birds nested leaving their guano upon the rocks below.
